Eleni Drinks Tea All Over The Place!

Oh, I've got so much to tell you and so little time!  July and August have been super-busy:

I've been to Amsterdam!
I've been to Paris!
I've been to London, a bunch of times!
I bought new shoes!
I got the sewing machine out and snazzed up a pair of trousers!
I went to two gigs!
I'm starting a part-time course in September which I'm hugely excited about!

All highly blog-worthy events, I assure you, but there just hasn't been much time inbetween it all to sit down and put the proverbial pen to paper.  Plus I am currently job-hunting (long boring story which I won't go into here) and I watched a load of the Olympics (and cried a lot and screamed at the TV a lot and did a lot of Mobots in my living room...didn't you?) so I have been somewhat lacking in free time.  But be patient with me, dear readers, the time will come.  I have sent off a couple of cracking applications this week, if I do say so myself, and am (overly?) confident that the job-hunting won't dominate for too long.  Plus, of course the bulk of the Olympics are over now (given how much I cried during the first lot though, I doubt I'll survive the Paralympics...SUCH amazing people!) so there'll be less telly-watching and more blogging, I promise.  Although, I am also tantalisingly close to finishing 'War and Peace'...now THAT particular personal achievement will definitely get its own post!

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten you, and I do miss you, and I will be back soon for some quality time x x

  2. As much as we've missed you here in Blogland - it's great news to hear that your absence hasn't been due to scary, unfortunate or even worse boring reasons... you've gathered good post worthy fodder ... Yay! We wait with tea in hand and chocolate in .. um ... other hand :-) ... PS - Good luck job hunting!

  6. You have had quite the month! I didn't manage to see any Olympics or Paraolympics at all... oops! Anyway, I saw your comment, and I'm not in the UK at the moment, but I should be visiting Albert in Bristol fairly often... and that's close to Bath! We could drink tea together. :)
