Look what arrived in the post this week...
That's right, bloggers, my new Gold Rush necklace, all the way from CityBirds Nest in California - hi, Cristie!
She really is such a lovely blogger - always so cheerful and kind in her comments - and when I saw her new Gold Rush line I just couldn't resist!
I'm sorry, but I'm struggling to get a decent photo of the necklace, because the weather's all grey and gloomy here in Bath at the moment. There's just not enough light. I feel a bit sorry for my new necklace: born into the California sunshine, imagine his excitement at being shipped off on his great adventure, to his new home. I wonder if he knew much about England before his journey? Alas, he was greeted by rain, rain, and more rain. I have decided to hang him in my window as a talisman, to bring some of that California sunshine over here to banish those grey skies (plus, he's just a little too special to be bunged into my Necklace Tin just yet)...
See how grey the sky is! Here's the brave little adventurer, looking all War of the Worlds-y in a close-up over the chimneypots of Bath:
May he bring me sunshine!
All the way from the USA!! Sunshine land to windy land. It suits you, and actually almost looks like an umbrella -he was made to be with you in Bath!
ReplyDeleteit looks amazing on you! sooo glad you like it :D

ReplyDeleteI don't live too far away from you and I know what you mean about getting a good picture. I have struggled to get good photos because of the poor lighting. Bring on some sunshine indeed!
