Red Cowboy Boots!

Now, I don't think I'm fussy. I have wanted a pair of real leather, flat, red vintage boots for ages. Shouldn't be too difficult, should it? However, I have big feet for a small girl (UK 7, 5'4'') and apparently nobody had feet bigger than a size 5 in the old days, or if they did, they all ate their shoes when they were done with them, as it seems very few survive in my size. For this reason Ebay is, and will always be, one of my greatest allies. It's like one giant charity shop for me to rummage through (and by "rummage", I mean I tell it what I want, click, and it brings me its offerings. Ah, the wonderful web!). And lo, look what Ebay has delivered unto me:


And not just any old boots...cowboy boots! The American also has a pair of red cowboy boots (but his are really dark red, so we don't look like a weird twin couple) as does this lovely blogger over at the Rockstar Diaries. Part of me wants everybody to own a pair of red cowboy boots, as mine make me very happy indeed, but of course the other part of me wants them to be mine, all mine!
